The Lazy Ant

On a hot summer day, an ant named "Nona" was busy collecting food for the winter. While Nona was working hard, she noticed another ant named "Sally" sitting under a large tree doing nothing.

Nona asked Sally, "Why don't you help collect food?"

Sally replied, "It's too hot, and I don't want to tire myself out."

Nona said, "But we need to collect a lot of food for the winter. If we don't work now, we'll starve later."

Sally didn't care about Nona's words and continued to sit under the tree.

Days passed, and winter came. While Nona was enjoying the food she had collected, Sally was starving.

Sally went to Nona and asked for help.

Nona said, "I warned you before, but you didn't listen to me. Now you have to suffer the consequences of your laziness."

Sally felt very sorry for what she had done and promised Nona that she would work hard next year.

سألت نونا سلمى: "لماذا لا تساعدين في جمع الطعام؟".

أجابت سلمى: "الجو حار جدًا، وأنا لا أريد أن أتعب نفسي".

قالت نونا: "لكننا نحتاج إلى جمع الكثير من الطعام لفصل الشتاء. إذا لم نعمل الآن، سنعاني من الجوع لاحقًا".

لم تبال سلمى بكلام نونا، وظلت جالسة تحت الشجرة.

مرّت الأيام، وحان فصل الشتاء. بينما كانت نونا تستمتع بطعامها الذي جمعته، كانت سلمى تعاني من الجوع.

ذهبت سلمى إلى نونا وطلبت منها المساعدة.

قالت نونا: "لقد حذّرتكِ من قبل، لكنكِ لم تسمعي كلامي. الآن عليكِ أن تعاني من نتائج كسلكِ".

شعرت سلمى بالندم الشديد على ما فعلته، ووعدت نونا بأن تعمل بجد في العام القادم.
